Elephant’s Graveyard, directed by Keira McDonald for Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of the Performing Arts.
Elephant’s Graveyard by George Brant is a play based on the true story of Mary the Elephant, who was executed after she killed her inexperienced trainer during a performance. Set in a small town in Tennessee in 1916, the play tackles themes of violence, spectacle, and revenge as the townspeople rally to kill the circus elephant.
