Sweetsify is a fictional candy company that manufactures and sells sweets in Northeast Ohio. The company sells packaged items in-store and online that inspire nostalgia and maintain the brand’s imagery: flowing candy stripe borders, circles, and custom candy illustrations. Consistent utilization of Sweetsify’s brand colors and typography visually communicates a friendly and delicious brand that relates across all Sweetsify branded items.

A 3” x 3” x 9.25” box carries the Sweet Drinks Water Bottle, which customers see through the box’s custom die-cut and transparent plastic. Sweetsify’s logo extends into this die-cut to remind customers of their childhood doll boxes. A wrap circles the Sweet Treats Candy Jar, measured at 14.75” x 3.5” when flat. The up-down motion of the wrap’s candy stripe border takes customers through information about the product and informs them of their automatic 5% donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Center with every Sweetsify purchase. A 7.18” x 3.3” sticker wraps the front and right side of the Sweet Celebrations Candy Container. Limited space on the side panel allows for the promotion of other products in the fictional Sweet Celebrations collection and a call to use a social media hashtag with photos of the product in use.

All packaged items comply with FDA and FTC requirements, as well as acts and standards passed for the selling of goods. This includes Country of Origin, Declaration of Responsibility, Declaration of Quantity, warnings, UPC, and directions, among other requirements. Illustrations created in Adobe Illustrator visually communicate characteristics, instructions, and warnings that customers of all ages can recognize.
